LOSE WEIGHT.. WHY?

There are many reasons why you may want to "go on a diet", such as:

- feel fitter;

- resolve gastrointestinal disorders (bloating,..);

- have a body that you “like best”;

- for health reasons

 

All these conditions constitute valid reasons to undertake a path of greater awareness of one's body and nutritional education.

HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT?

We cannot deny it.. To lose weight it is necessary to carry out a caloric restriction or rather it is necessary to consume a quantity of calories during the day which is lower than the energy needs, but which takes into account our lifestyle and therefore daily activities, how much physical activity , sports,..

BUT THIS DOESN'T MEAN YOU NEED TO BE HUNGRY ALL DAY... ON THE RIGHT!

A correct and balanced nutritional plan, combined with physical activity (not necessarily sport! Just move) allows you to achieve your goal (and therefore weight loss or the improvement of a pathological condition). 

 

Correct in the sense that attention must be paid to the type and frequency of foods 

 

Balanced means trying to consume carbohydrates, lipids and proteins throughout the day, in the proportions necessary to achieve the goal.

So with a well-constructed food plan it is possible to include, unless there are pathologies, the foods you prefer in the right quantities and frequencies and you will still be able to lose weight.

TIME AND RESULTS

In general, every change involves stress because we have to abandon a known condition (the present and current one) to launch ourselves towards a new and perhaps unknown one. And it is also true that to achieve most of the things that interest us, we have to work hard and sometimes fight, but above all it takes time and patience. 

 

When we take care of our organism the same rules apply. 

 

You cannot think of obtaining a result "all at once"; we have to get our body used to a new diet and this may take time

 

The fact that the results you would like to see are not achieved in a short time does not mean that the path is wrong; In fact, our body can behave differently when faced with a caloric restriction. The value you read on the scale is not enough to quantify the success of the journey; in fact, a small weight loss could occur in the face of a good body recomposition (and it would be absolutely positive) or an improvement in metabolic parameters (e.g. blood sugar, cholesterol, triglycerides, blood pressure,..). 

 

A balanced weight loss accustoms your body to a balanced diet with the right quantities, so that once you reach the desired weight, you will be able to maintain it without having to struggle too much.

 

 

 

 


 

BECAUSE YOU WILL MAKE IT

When faced with a new adventure, the fear of not making it could block us. And when it comes to the nutritional journey, it can be even more difficult, given that our body and our health are at stake. The situation could be even more complicated in the presence of previous dietary experiences that perhaps did not satisfy you or after achieving your goal, you quickly regained the lost weight. 

 

BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY... BECAUSE HERE YOU WILL BE PLACED IN CONDITIONS SUITABLE FOR ACHIEVING YOUR OBJECTIVE

 

 How? 

 

You will not only be given a simple food plan, but you will be guided on a nutritional journey; you will learn to build balanced meals with the correct frequency of foods, as well as specifically calculated quantities... 

 

The diet will respect your habits and above all your daily life (do you often eat out? Don't have time to have a complete meal?..) 

 

UNLESS YOU HAVE COMPLETELY INCORRECT EATING HABITS, YOU WILL NOT BE REQUIRED TO REVOLUTIONIZE YOUR DIET 

 

But we will build your eating days together, considering your tastes, any pathologies and what result you want or need to achieve. 

 

Are you afraid of finding prescribed foods that you don't want to eat? 

 

The plan always includes foods that you already eat or would eat. 

 

Are you afraid of abandoning the path? 

 

To help you with consistency, I always recommend a monthly check-up, in which we will evaluate together the path taken and modify the plan, also based on your experience. In my experience, patients who were accompanied by periodic checks obtained results more easily.
